Abstract

|
Immunostimulating activity of Ginseng, Acanthopanacis cortex, kalopanacis cortex on reticuloendotherial system´ s phagocytosis in mice was investigated. Water, and EtOH(50%, 95%) extract of Ginseng and G115 decrease the clearance rate of carbon significantly at 100, 200㎎/ ㎏ dose administration respectively. Ginsenoside Re, Rg_1 and chiisanoside decrease the clearance rate of carbon by administration of 5, 10㎎/ ㎏ dose respectively. Similar enhanced phagocytic activity was shown by administration of the glycoside fraction from Kalopanacis cortex,(5, 10, 20㎎/ ㎏).
